Vacation4Sardar: Celebrating Sardar’s Legacy by Inspiring Kids!

At WorldMiTR, as part of our year-long Sardar@150 initiative, we believe the best way to honor this legacy is to share it meaningfully with the next generation. We asked ourselves: how can we make Sardar’s inspiring story and values relevant and exciting for children today, especially during their free time, like vacations?

That’s why we created Vacation4Sardar!

It’s a special 7-day online program designed specifically for children during their vacation breaks. We use this unique opportunity not just to teach history, but to spark the very qualities Sardar Patel stood for – leadership, courage, unity, and determination – in a fun and engaging way.

What Kids Experience: More Than Just History

This isn’t a typical history lesson! Forget lectures – think fun, interactive online sessions (about 1 hour daily). Using their own printed Activity Pack (which we provide as a PDF), children dive into Sardar Patel’s world through:

• Engaging Stories: Discovering his life and leadership through exciting tales.
• Creative Fun: Drawing, coloring, role-playing, and even making their own mini-movies!
• Tech Exploration: Using cool tools like AI for unique learning projects about history and leadership.

The Real Takeaway: Building Skills for Life

While learning about Sardar Patel, children naturally absorb the qualities that made him great. They practice teamwork, build confidence by expressing themselves, and understand the strength that comes from working together.
