Sardar150: Inspiring Participation by Deaf & Mute School in Ahmedabad

Even in silence, unity speaks louder than words. One of the most heart-touching moments of the Sardar150 initiative has been the active participation of students from the School for the Deaf and Mute in Ahmedabad. These incredible young minds have shown that disability is not a limitation when there is passion and purpose.
Since the Summer Vacation of 2025, the students have been enthusiastically involved in all activities conducted by WorldMiTR. From coloring and drawing Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s image, to performing yoga on International Day of Yoga, and even attending daily learning and inspiration sessions, their energy and discipline have been truly remarkable.
This inspiring journey wouldn’t have been possible without the constant guidance and encouragement of the teachers and principal of the school. A special heartfelt thanks to Ritaben Chauhan, who has been working tirelessly and passionately to support and uplift these students, ensuring they become confident participants in building Viksit Bharat.
Their journey is a beautiful reminder that Sardar Patel’s legacy of unity and strength lives on in every child, regardless of their challenges.
