A Green Tribute on Sardar Patel’s 150th Birth Anniversary

On the special occasion of the 150th birth anniversary of the Iron Man of India, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, a visionary environmental initiative was launched today across Gujarat — the “Sardar Patel Upvan” campaign.

This ambitious project focuses on environmental conservation, with the aim of developing dedicated green spaces — upvans — in every village of Gujarat. With the presence and leadership of Cabinet Ministers from the Government of Gujarat, the campaign was flagged off with great enthusiasm and commitment.

We were fortunate to witness the beginning of this journey, which not only aims to bring greenery to our rural landscapes but also keeps alive the vision, values, and unifying spirit of Sardar Patel.

This is a small but meaningful step towards building a sustainable and united Bharat.

🙏 Kudos to the Government of Gujarat and the Government of India for initiating such people-centric programs that beautifully combine environmental responsibility with patriotic legacy.

આજરોજ લોખંડ પુરુષ સરદાર વલ્લભભાઈ પટેલની 150મી જન્મજયંતિ નિમિત્તે સમગ્ર ગુજરાતમાં પર્યાવરણ જાળવણી માટેની મહત્ત્વાકાંક્ષી યોજના “સરદાર પટેલ ઉપવન” દ્વારા આરંભ કરવામાં આવી છે.

આ અભિયાન અંતર્ગત રાજ્યના દરેક ગામે ઉપવનનો વિકાસ અને પર્યાવરણીય જાગૃતિ ફેલાવવાનો સંકલ્પ લેવામાં આવ્યો છે. રાજ્ય સરકારના કેબિનેટ મંત્રીશ્રીઓએ આ યાત્રાનો આરંભ કરતા શૂભારંભ આપ્યો.

આ એક નાનકડું પણ અર્થપૂર્ણ પગલું છે, જે આપણા ગ્રામ્ય વિસ્તારોમાં હરિયાળી ફેલાવશે અને સરદાર સાહેબના વિચારોને જીવંત રાખશે.
