Unity Yatra 2025 Details
The year 2025 marks the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Patel, a visionary leader who played a pivotal role in India’s independence and unification. The WorldMiTR team will be celebrating this milestone with a series of Unity Yatras, commencing with a journey from Ahmedabad to Karamsad.
About Organiser Darshan Patel
I am Darshan Patel, a proud native of Naj village in Ahmedabad district and a global traveler dedicated to promoting India’s culture and values. Inspired by Sardar Patel’s vision, I am organizing the Unity Yatra 2025 to foster patriotism and unity among people from all walks of life.
Objectives of Unity Yatra 2025
The Unity Yatra 2025 aims to:
- Honor Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man of India.
- Inspire Patriotism and Unity among youth and citizens.
- Promote discussions on unity, self-reliance, and rural India’s role in national development.
Event Details
- Date: 26th January 2025 (Republic Day) at 9:00 am from Laldarwaja, Ahmedabad
- Route: Ahmedabad → Jetalpur → Kheda → Dabhan → Nadiad → Karamsad
- Participants: Open to all communities and groups, with participants joining the Yatra in their own vehicles to symbolize unity in diversity.
The journey will conclude at Sarda Patel Memorium Karamsad, the village of Sardar Patel, as a tribute to his immense contributions to unity India.
