“Sardar@150: એકતા યાત્રા (હેરિટેજ વોક)” એ અમદાવાદ શહેરમાં સફળતાપૂર્વક યોજાઈ, જે સરદાર વલ્લભભાઈ પટેલની ૧૫૦મી જન્મજયંતિ નિમિત્તે આયોજિત એક ઐતિહાસિક કાર્યક્રમ હતો. WorldMiTR દ્વારા અમદાવાદ મહાનગરપાલિકા, રોટરી ક્લબ, લાયન્સ ક્લબ અને અન્ય સંસ્થાઓ સાથે મળીને યોજાયેલી આ યાત્રાનો મુખ્ય ઉદ્દેશ સરદાર પટેલના એકતા અને રાષ્ટ્રસેવાના યોગદાનને ઉજવવાનો હતો.

આયોજક વિશે – દર્શન પટેલ

દર્શન પટેલ, મૂળ ભારતના વતની અને હાલમાં મેક્સિકોમાં સ્થાયી, ઈલેક્ટ્રોનિક્સ એન્જિનિયર છે. તેમણે TCS અને IBM જેવી આંતરરાષ્ટ્રીય કંપનીઓમાં ઉચ્ચ પદ પર સેવા આપી, પણ ₹1.2 કરોડ વાર્ષિક પેકેજ છોડી, ભારતીય વારસાની જાળવણી માટે પોતાનું જીવન સમર્પિત કર્યું. તેમની સંસ્થા WorldMiTR, “વસુધૈવ કુટુંબકમ” ના સિદ્ધાંત પર કામ કરી રહી છે અને ૨૦૨૨થી ભારતીય સંસ્કૃતિને વૈશ્વિક સ્તરે પ્રસારિત કરી રહી છે.

A Grand Tribute to Sardar Patel’s Legacy

The “Sardar@150: Unity Yatra (Heritage Walk)” was successfully organized in Ahmedabad to commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. This event, hosted by WorldMiTR in collaboration with Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation, Rotary Club, Lions Club, and other organizations, aimed to honor Sardar Patel’s contributions to national unity and leadership.

About the Organizer – Darshan Patel

Darshan Patel, an Indian-origin entrepreneur now based in Mexico, has dedicated himself to promoting Indian heritage worldwide. After a successful career in TCS and IBM, he left a ₹1.2 crore annual package to work full-time on preserving India’s rich legacy. His initiative, WorldMiTR, has been actively spreading the philosophy of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” since 2022.
