વિરાજબેન પટેલ સંગાથફાઉન્ડેશન થકી સિનિયર સિટિઝન્સ માટે અનેકવિધ પ્રવૃત્તિઓનું આયોજન કરે છે,

જેમાં મોટી સંખ્યામાં વૃદ્ધ નાગરિકોને જોડીને તેમના માટે વિવિધ સગવડો અને મનોરંજનાત્મક,શિક્ષણાત્મક,રચનાત્મક પ્રવૃત્તિઓનું આયોજન કરવામાં આવે છે.

2019માં સહારા ઈનિશિયેટિવ (કર્મા ફાઉન્ડેશન)ના પ્રમુખ તરીકે તેમણે અમદાવાદના તમામ સિનિયર સિટિઝન્સ માટે ‘કેરમ ટૂર્નામેન્ટ’નું આયોજન કર્યું હતું.

આ સાથે જ 2019ના નવરાત્રી દરમિયાન વૃદ્ધ નાગરિકો માટે ગરબા મહોત્સવ યોજી તેમનું મનોબળ વધાર્યું હતું.

વર્ષ 2019મા સમગ્ર ગુજરાતમાંથી વૃદ્ધો નિબંધ સ્પર્ધામા ભાગ લઈ શકે તે માટે કર્મા ફાઉન્ડેશનના નેજા હેઠળ સંગાથફાઉન્ડેશનના સહકારથી નિબંધ સ્પર્ધાનુ આયોજન કરેલ. તેમજ તે નિબંધોને સંકલિત કરવાનુ કાર્ય કરેલ છે. આ નિબંધ સંગ્રહ કર્મા ફાઉન્ડેશનના સહયોગથી ‘ હા હું છું ગુજરાતી’ ના શિર્ષક હેઠળ પુસ્તક રૂપે પ્રકાશિત થયેલ છે.

તેમજ અંધશાળાના બાળકો અને સિનિયર સિટિઝન્સ વચ્ચે કરાઓકે ઈવેન્ટ યોજી, જે સમાજના બે અલગ વર્ગોને એકસાથે લાવવા માટે નો અપ્રતિમ પ્રયાસ છે.

અત્યાર સુધીમાં તેઓ 15,000થી વધુ વૃદ્ધ નાગરિકોને પ્રોત્સાહિત કરી ચૂક્યા છે.

મહિલાઓ માટે કાર્ય

વિરાજબેનના પ્રયત્નો માત્ર વૃદ્ધ નાગરિકો માટે જ નથી, તેઓ સ્ત્રી મંચ દ્વારા મહિલાઓ માટે એક મંચ પ્રદાન કરે છે, જ્યાં મહિલાઓ પોતાનાં વિચારો આત્મવિશ્વાસ સાથે સમાજ સમક્ષ રજૂ કરી શકે.
