WorldMiTR at Kankaria Carnival 2025 — Celebrating the 151st Birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel
After the grand success of celebrating the 150th Birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, WorldMiTR is ready to continue the legacy of unity and awareness at Kankaria Carnival 2025 in Ahmedabad.
This year, our mission is simple yet powerful — to spread awareness about Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s life, vision, and contribution to India in a creative and interactive way.
🎪 Our Plan for Kankaria Carnival 2025
WorldMiTR has officially proposed to the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) — the organizing committee of the carnival — for four activity stalls dedicated to the Iron Man of India. Each stall will offer a unique experience that blends fun, creativity, and learning.
🪆 1. Puppet Show — “Life of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel”
A storytelling performance through traditional puppetry that brings alive inspiring moments from Sardar Patel’s journey — from a freedom fighter to the unifier of India.
🎨 2. Color Without Border — Sardar Patel Coloring Contest
An open art space where children and visitors can express their creativity by coloring images of Sardar Patel. This activity will symbolize unity and imagination “without borders.”
📖 3. Storytelling Zone — Projected Tales of Unity
Using projectors and modern visuals, we will narrate inspiring stories of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s leadership, courage, and vision for a united India.
🎬 4. Video Making Workshop — Learn & Create
A mini learning hub where youth and creators can learn how to make awareness videos about Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. The goal is to empower participants to take this message online and keep spreading his legacy.
💰 Entry Charges
We are requesting complimentary stalls from AMC to make these activities accessible to everyone.
- If the stalls are provided complimentarily, each activity will cost just ₹10 per participant.
- If AMC charges for the stalls, we plan to keep a nominal fee of ₹50 per activity to cover basic operational costs.
🌿 Inspired by Past Success
We have already conducted a similar event at Shree Nishkalanki Narayan Tirthdham, Prernapith, during the 551 Amrut Mahotsav of the temple — where visitors actively participated, learned, and celebrated the message of unity. The energy, creativity, and response from the public were truly inspiring.
