Get ready, Guadalajara! We’re bringing an exciting Indian Film Festival to your city. This event is a big deal because it’s not just about watching movies. It’s a chance to dive into Indian stories and culture. And the best part? It’s a team effort by the Indian Embassy, Cultural Center of India Gurudev Tagore, NFDC, WorldMiTR, and Cinema Live Guadalajara.
What’s Happening?
Over three weeks in March, we’re showing three amazing Indian movies. Each one is special and will give you a taste of India’s rich culture and history.
- March 15: Tanhaji (with Spanish subtitles) – The second week brings Tanhaji, a gripping tale of valor, sacrifice, and strategy, set against the backdrop of Indian history.
- March 22: RRR (with Spanish subtitles) – Kickstarting the festival, RRR is a visual spectacle that combines historical fiction with high-octane action, embodying the spirit of freedom and friendship..
- March 29: Bajirao Mastani (Spanish dubbed) – The festival concludes with Bajirao Mastani, a masterpiece that narrates an epic love story amidst war and political strife, showcasing India’s rich cultural heritage.
