A Cultural Exchange Odyssey

My recent trip to the United States in August 2024 was a truly unforgettable experience. I had the privilege of joining the renowned Gujarati artists Shree Bhanubhai Vora and Tripti Chhaya from Swarkinnari Group, Mumbai ( Click for: YouTube Channel), who have been dedicated to promoting Indian culture, traditions, and music in the USA for over three decades.

A team of Cultural Artists

Accompanying us were the talented lead singers Shree Bhanubhai Vora, Tripti Chhaya, Sangeeta Vora, Dharmendra Gohil, percussionist and Octapad player Bindesh Pande, the skilled tabla artist Rohit Waghela, and the keyboardist Hemant Pejye. Together, we formed a dynamic team committed to showcasing the vibrant tapestry of Indian culture.

Celebrating Independence and Brotherhood

We participated in several events across the United States, including Independence Day celebrations in Oklahoma City, Birmingham, and Atlanta. The Raksha Bandhan festival was commemorated in Knoxville and Hattiesburg. These events provided us with opportunities to connect with the Indian diaspora and share our rich cultural heritage.

A Cultural Exchange Mission

Our mission was to spread awareness about Indian culture, traditions, and music. We performed various cultural programs, engaged in interactive sessions, and shared stories of India’s rich history. The response from the American audience was overwhelming, demonstrating a growing appreciation for Indian culture and its diversity.
