Sardar@150: Schools Celebrating 150th Birth Year of Sardar Patel.
Sardar@150 is a worldwide initiative to celebrate the 150th birth anniversary of the Iron Man of India, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. This year-long celebration aims to inspire unity, patriotism, and a deeper understanding of his invaluable contributions to our nation.
To engage young minds, we are taking Sardar@150 to schools across the world starting with Gujarat. We believe that fostering unity among the youth is crucial for the future of our nation.

Activities for Students:
- Sketch: Students will express their creativity by drawing or painting portraits of Sardar Patel. Selected posters we will arrange to place in sale.
- Essay: Students will write essays on topics related to Sardar Patel’s life, his contributions to nation-building, and the importance of unity. Length of eassy – Maximum 300 words
- Podcast or Recorded Speech: Students will showcase their public speaking skills by recording speeches that depict Sardar Patel’s life and his message of unity. Maximum Length 120 Seconds.
How students will benefit?:
The activities are designed to recognize talent and connect individuals across the globe, inspiring, educating, empowering, and uniting young minds.
- Recognize Talent: Identify and nurture the talents of young individuals in various fields
- Inspire: Ignite young minds with the values of unity, integrity, and patriotism exemplified by Sardar Patel.
- Educate: Provide knowledge about Sardar Patel’s life, his struggles, and his monumental achievements.
- Empower: Encourage creative expression and critical thinking through art, writing, and public speaking.
How to Participate:
- Each school can select up to 10 students for each of these three activities, making a total of 30 students per school.
- From these 30 students, one student will be selected from each activity to represent the school at the Taluka Level School Contest scheduled for July-August.
- The best performers from the Taluka Level will then move on to the District Level Contest, which will be held in September-October.
Rewards:
Every student who participates in any of these activities will be awarded a certificate of participation. Attractive prizes will be announced for both Taluka and District level Contests.
